And according to the type of imperfection, there’s a type of chemical peel you can choose.

The lightest ones are glycolic peel, AHA peel and fruit acid peel. They come in various concentration degrees, the mildest ones have less than a 10% concentration of acid and can be found in the market as creams or lotions that you can put on every day for a long period of time. They enhance your skin slowly and have almost no side effects.

If you are looking for medium to intense peels, you should know they have some more important side effectsand a recovery process that can last from a couple of days to a couple of weeks, depending on the intensity of the treatment and your skin type.
