The fact is that whatever we do to alter or change something in our body, there will always be risks that we have to face. PAIN: depending on how sensitive the patient is, the treatment might feel like a rubber band stinging the skin.
REDNESS: this occurs after the treatment. This is just temporary and may last for around one to three days on the area that is treated.
INFECTION: poor cleaning and disinfection before, after, and during the laser session, can cause infection.
SWELLING: a bit of swelling and irritation might occur at the follicle area after the treatment. Swelling can subside after 3 days or so.
ITCHING: itchiness can be felt during the sessions.
BLEEDING: bleeding can occur as a result of the irritation of the hair follicles which is probably due to over treatment
BRUISING: slight bruising on the treated areas often happens with people who have sensitive skin.
BURNING: this can be the case of improper laser hair removal procedure. This can also be a result of the use of inappropriate laser on the type of the skin.
SKIN PIGMENT CHANGE: can only happen if the session is performed by an inexperienced technician.
