When you go to the beach, you will need to protect yourself from the natural forces that are more prevalent at the beach than at your home. Among other things, they are wind, sun, and salt water. This article will advice you on which protection items to bring in your beach tote bags.
The sun makes you dehydrate with its heat, while you don’t notice it because the sea breeze keeps your body temperature to stay cool. Therefore, you could dehydrate without noticing it. To prevent this from happening, bring a bottle of water per person to the beach, and be sure to intake water a few times every hour. If you get a headache because of too little water intake, it is already a bit too late. If this happens, be sure to drink a lot (finish the whole bottle) to hydrate your head again.
Sunscreen helps you protect your skin from harmful sun rays. UV rays can burn your skin, causing pains and possibly skin cancer. So, be sure to pack some sunblock in your beach bag, and make sure that the factor is high enough for your type of skin.
Besides the more obvious skin and mouth that needs protection, it might also be a good idea to pack some spray-on protection for your hair. Your hair gets very dry when you go in the salty water and let it dry in the sun. This can make it change its color, and even break the endings, let alone give you a funny beachy hairdo that surprises you every time after visiting the beach. Alternatively, a shampoo exists with UV protection in it.
So you think you have packed enough protection items in your beach bag already? think again. Unless you use a very think sun screen, you should pack lip balm in that tote bag to protect your lips from cracking and annoy you for the rest of the week.
